Since joining the Lettings department in 2009 Alison has proved to be an invaluable member of the team. Her legal background and sound knowledge of property law, coupled with her fastidious eye for detail has made her the perfect person for drawing up legal documents such as tenancy agreements and licences on behalf of our clients. She runs a tight ship and ensures that the administration of the department runs faultlessly, which is extremely important to ensure tenancies run smoothly.
Alison says, “I endeavour to provide a professional and friendly service to both landlords and tenants ensuring that both parties are satisfied at what can be a stressful and pressured time whilst complying with all the necessary obligations“.
Jackie joined the Residential Lettings and Management Team in 2010. She shows prospective new tenants around properties to rent and liaises with tenants, contractors and landlords on a wide range of issues including property maintenance and repairs.
She says, “I really enjoy the face-to-face element of my job but I also realise that the behind the scenes administrative part of my role is very important. So I also take a great deal of satisfaction in ensuring every little detail is attended to as quickly and effectively as possible - that way we make everyone that much happier with the entire process”.
Michael’s prime responsibility is to support his clients in protecting their property asset by finding suitable tenants who will enjoy and care for the premises, by managing maintenance and repairs and by producing an optimum income stream.

In 2012 Michael became one of the few letting agents to have completed a Level 5 Diploma in Residential Lettings making him a Fellow of Association of Residential Letting Agents.
Ray has a wealth of experience that spans over half a century, and acts as a consultant based at the Stratford-upon-Avon office.
As the current Directors say, “Having someone with Ray’s breadth of knowledge and experience is a real asset to the company as we strive to continually maintain the very highest standards of service to our clients”.
Ray has a wide range of personal interests including sailing, music, photography, history and personal fitness but fortunately he retains an overriding interest in his professional career to the continuing benefit of Sheldon Bosley Knight and its clients.

Sue has recently become one of the few letting agents to have completed the Level 4 Certificate in Residential Letting and Property Management making her a Fellow of the Association of Residential Letting Agents.
Helen joined the Residential Lettings and Management Team in the Shipston-on-Stour Office in 2011. She shows prospective new tenants around properties to rent and liaises with tenants, contractors and landlords on a wide range of issues including property maintenance and repairs.
She is of the view that “This job is very satisfying and I really enjoy the personal contact it involves. But it also means a lot of hard work and attention to detail so that the entire process runs smoothly and all parties feel they are well informed and their interests are being well looked after“.
Keen to learn and progress, Helen passed the NFOPP Technical Award in Residential Letting and Property Management in September 2014 and is a member of The Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA).
James, based predominantly in the Stratford-upon-Avon office, is a registered RICS valuer and works mainly in the areas of Land Agency and Agriculture, Estate Management, Planning and Valuation.
He has a strong interest and background in the rural community and has a family farming business based in South Warwickshire with a range of diversification enterprises. His strong personal interest in conservation is exemplified by the Stewardship Scheme which is in place on the farm, to promote wildlife habitat and biodiversity.
James was chairman of Warwickshire National Farmers Union in 2000-2002 (through the last Foot and Mouth crisis) and a member of the CLA Committee responsible for the Game Fair, held in July 2013, at Ragley Hall.
He is a Director of the Warwickshire Rural Hub based at the NAC at Stoneleigh and a member of the Coventry & Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership SME Rural Sub-Group.
He was appointed to the Midlands Regional Advisory Board of the NFU Mutual Insurance Society Ltd in 2013 and held the title of Coventry & Warwickshire Property Professional of the Year 2015 (FirstPro Awards).
Faye joined the SBK team as a Lettings Administrator after working for an independent agent for over 12 years.
After gaining a vast amount of knowledge of all aspects of Lettings covering administration, accounts and negotiation, Faye says “I enjoy all aspects of working within the lettings industry but particularly like being involved in meeting new clients and customers and providing them with excellent customer service. I am predominately involved in agreeing new tenancies and preparing the paperwork for Landlords & Tenants and also meeting with new Landlords.”
Faye comments “I am looking forward to further growing the business with the successful team in Leamington Spa and Exceeding the Standard for SBK.”
With over 20 years of experience working in the property and lettings industry, Rebecca has had an interesting journey to her current role at Sheldon Bosley Knight. She started her journey working for a Housing Association many years ago, and has since worked for a number of Lettings & Management Companies (both large Corporate and Independent firms).
Rebecca comments “Although the job can be very challenging at times trying to increase property portfolios in an extremely competitive market, I love rising to the challenge. Throughout my 20 years of working in the Leamington area, it’s been interesting watching the property industry expand and develop, especially over the last 8 years.
I am extremely excited to be working at SBK. I find myself in a company that is showing itself to be very successful and expanding in a very competitive industry and I am delighted to be part of a dynamic, fun and knowledgeable team. In a world that seems to be flooded with ever changing technology, the highlights of my job involve getting back to basics and working with the most important aspects of the business…..People! Contractors, tenants and of course our clients.”
Maggie joined the team in 2011 as a Sales Administrator but quickly proved herself invaluable in the Lettings Department. As Lettings Co-ordinator she deals primarily with marketing, tenancy renewals, notices, gas safety and legionella checks but as with all the team, she covers all other aspects of Lettings as and when needed.
She says ‘I find the administrative part of my job where my organisational skills are really put to use very satisfying, however one of my favourite tasks is going out to photograph new properties and choosing the shots which will show them to their best advantage’.
Oliver has unrivalled knowledge of how the property business works having left school at 16 to run the photocopier and make cups of tea for an independent estate agent to become– 20 years later – director of New Homes at SBK.
Oliver brings a huge amount of residential property experience to SBK, having established and run Knight & Rennie – with offices in Leamington Spa and Kenilworth – for 12 years, ahead of the merger with Sheldon Bosley. ‘’This merger was a real no-brainer and represents a wonderful opportunity for both firms to pool their resources and talents to offer clients one superb service. We are now one of the real property powerhouses in Warwickshire offering a boggling array of services and opportunities for our clients.’’
Tamara joined the Lettings Team in Leamington Spa in 2013 as Property Manager and has since been promoted to Lettings Manager. Having a background in residential lettings, Tamara has worked for local independent agents for 16 years based in the Warwickshire area and has built up an excellent knowledge of the local area.
ARLA qualified and having previously worked within a facilities management industry, she has a great understanding of the need to provide a quality service and takes pleasure in building good relations with landlords and tenants.

Claire joined the Lettings Team in March 2015 as Lettings Co-ordinator after having worked in the industry for 10 years for local independent agents. Having accumulated a vast amount of local knowledge and experience Claire says “I have had various roles throughout my career in Lettings and pretty much cover everything from viewings and administration to client accounts. My main role now is more on the accounting side but I also enjoy going out to meet prospective landlords and selling the SBK service as the best in Warwickshire.”
Claire comments “We have a hard-working, loyal team here in Leamington with a wealth of experience and we take great pride in being entrusted with some of the best properties in town. Our aim is to continue to keep both landlords and tenants happy and provide the best service we possible can.”
Marc joined the company in late 2016 to become the new Lettings manager in Leamington Spa. He has worked in the industry for a number of years, and has built up a vast amount of local knowledge in and around the Warwickshire area. Marc comments “I have worked in all areas of Lettings throughout my career and I enjoy the fast pace environment and I love the interaction with our clients".

I would particularly like to say a huge thank you to Andrew James. From the moment that I enquired about putting my house on the market, he has been nothing short of exceptional.
We had already found a house that we wanted to buy, and so it was important that my property went onto the market without delay and sold quickly. Andrew was fantastic in that respect; the house was on Rightmove within a couple of days of my instruction and he then arranged somewhere in the region of 20 viewings a week later. He priced the property brilliantly, leading to my receiving six offers, all in excess of the asking price.

I have used the various services provided for over forty years. As a farmer I have gradually found it increasingly onerous and time–consuming to deal with the plethora of paperwork produced by the agricultural directorate in Brussels and its UK implementing agent, DEFRA. I have therefore contracted this work out to you for the last eight years or so.
My point of contact for the last five years has been Laura Gaydon; I cannot speak highly enough of the service she has given me. She has been meticulously accurate in completing my Single Payment Scheme (now the Basic Payment Scheme) forms, always in good time and in good order, which is a great relief for me; in spite of the maddening complexity of the paperwork we have never had forms returned or rejected. Laura has also been responsible for ensuring that my Higher Level Stewardship commitments are properly met and reminding me of, and helping me with, the other form-filling obligations the our masters in Brussels impose on us.
Beyond all this Laura and her colleagues were responsible for drawing up the plans and application forms for a new grain store which was completed in the summer of 2014.
On a personal note it is a pleasure to work with Laura; she is efficient without being remotely bossy and has the invaluable gift of correcting my errors without a hint of reproach. I have no hesitation in warmly recommending Laura and by the same token Sheldon Bosley; throughout our long association I have always found them courteous and efficient and I look forward to maintaining this happy relationship in the future.
