Sheldon Bosley is delighted to announce that Kate Billing has recently passed the National Federation of Property Professionals (NFOPP) Level 3 Technical Award in the Sale of Residential Property and has been awarded her MNAEA membership of The National Association of Estate Agents.

Kate is part of the company’s Shipston-on-Stour residential sales team, which includes Associate Partner, Philip Jones FNAEA and Liz Smith MNAEA.  Looking after the team’s administrative and secretarial duties, Kate is the first point of contact for clients, whether they are selling or purchasing a property.

Kate loves her role within Sheldon Bosley which varies from arranging appointments, to preparing sales particulars, assisting with viewings, looking after the office’s newspaper advertising, and helping new clients find their perfect home. Kate and her husband have lived in the town for 30 years, bringing up their family there providing her with excellent local knowledge of Shipston and the surrounding area.

Philip Jones said:  ‘We are delighted that Kate has achieved such a high score in her exams.  Kate is a great asset to our team, and we are very proud of her.’

Is Your Deposit Protected?

Tenancy Deposit protectionThe Housing Act 2004 requires landlords and letting agents to protect deposits in a scheme such as The Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS), of which Sheldon Bosley are members.

The TDS provides government approved deposit protection with free, impartial dispute resolution.  Sheldon Bosley are also a member of the Surveyors Ombudsman Service independent redress scheme.

In addition to being RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) members, we are  a company member of ARLA (Association of Residential Lettings Agents).  They require that all members are qualified professionals and must follow a strict code of conduct.

Client Money Protection (CMP) provided by RICS is a compensation scheme run by the National Federation of Property Professionals (NFoPP) which provides compensation to landlords, tenants and other clients should an agent misappropriate their rent, deposit or other client funds.
