Originally famed for its wool trade Shipston-on-Stour still has a Wool Fair each Spring Bank Holiday. Shipston-on-Stour is easy to get to and has excellent road networks allowing access to the nearby towns of Evesham, Stratford-upon-Avon, Banbury and Warwick. The North Cotswolds are also within easy reach as is The Fosse Way, M40 and M5 are a short drive away allowing access to larger cities of Oxford, Birmingham, and London and there are regular bus and train services via Moreton in Marsh, Evesham, Stratford-upon-Avon and Oxford.
