Winchcombe is the epitome of a fine Cotswold town; home to timbered inns, local produce, independent shops, stunning scenery and now, Sheldon Bosley Knight.
We’ve taken double-fronted offices on North Street in the beautiful and picturesque Cotswold town of Winchcombe and will be supporting the local residents with our full range of services.
Dan Jackson, Co-owner, and our two office managers, Jaine Sutton and Zoey Kelly have spent time putting the finishing touches together ready to open.
Jaine and Zoey will be throwing themselves into the community, so we wanted to get to know them a little bit better.
First up, Zoey Kelly:
What was your first job in the property industry? Sales Negotiator
What attracted you to working in sales? After a challenging time selling my own house, I cheekily suggested I might be able to sell it myself – to my surprise they offered me a job 😊 – and sell it I did!
Sum up your job in 3 words: Enriching, educational, social
What’s the best piece of advice you have ever been given about estate agency? To listen
Where in the world would you most like to live and what style of property would you live in? On a world cruise ship and travel for a lifetime
Which celebrity’s house would you most like to view? Emmeline Pankhurst
Next up, we have Jaine Sutton, originally from Guernsey in the Chanel Islands. Jaine was bought up in a hotel on the beach in Cobo Bay, with her bedroom looking out to sea until the age of 10. This undoubtedly explains her love of the sea and why she finds being landlocked tough, unless living in a beautiful area like the Cotswolds.
What was your first job in the property industry? Timeshare sales rep in Nerja Spain (El Capistrano Development) -interviewed on the beach, fabulous while on holiday
What attracted you to work in sales? Unlimited money to earn, new items/products to purchase and sell, new technology and it’s interesting.
Sum up your job in 3 words? I love It…. (varied, interesting, rewarding)
What’s the best piece of advice you have ever been given about estate agency? Remain open-minded, a house is worth what someone is prepared to pay.
Where in the world would you most like to live and what style of property would you live in? Malibu Beach California in glass-fronted house looking out to sea…drinking cocktails at Dukes bar and eating lunch at Nobu….(or in the Cotswolds- result!!)
