Doing the treble

They only went and did it!

Despite the adverse weather conditions our team of Three Peaks Challengers completed the treble, climbing Scafell Pike, Snowdon and Ben Nevis within 24 hours.

They also smashed their £5,000 target for the Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust.

The team of Chloe Wright, Katie Fitzgerald, Nareece Ford, Max Danby, Isobel Dix, Micha Johnson, Rebecca Dean, James Taylor and Sam Wright trained hard for the event which they completed in the early hours of Sunday, September 14.

It entailed climbing the three highest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland – Scafell Pike (978m), Snowdon (1,085m) and Ben Nevis (1,345m) respectively – in under 24 hours.

Chloe said: “I am elated at the team’s dedication to complete the Three Peaks Challenge. We have been overwhelmed with support and donations to raise money for The Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust and I am delighted we have exceeded our target of £5,000.

“The challenge was both physically and mentally challenging and I am immensely proud of everybody’s efforts.”
