Young at heart, vibrant and according to Rightmove’s Happy at Home Index survey for 2021 and 2022, you are one of the happiest places in the country to live.
It’s not difficult to see why. This former spa town has it all and, with something for everyone, it is no wonder it is loved by young and old alike.
Great delis, cafes, restaurants and pubs can be found alongside shopping streets with a mix of independent and chain stores.
A variety of housing styles is also a feature, ranging from modern and converted flats in and around the town centre, to luxurious houses along tree-lined residential roads and everything in between.
Modern also sits cheek by jowl with old with the town embracing its history, particularly the Regency period with its fabulous architecture and the more modern blocks and housing developments a bit further out.
If you love greenery, Leamington is not found wanting, with the beautiful landscaped Jephson Gardens hugging the River Leam which snakes its way through the town. As well as Jephson, other green spaces include Victoria Park and Newbold Comyn, which are favourites for dog walkers, skateboarders and parents and their children.
For those who love to get out and about, Leamington has a cinema, the Spa Centre which hosts a multitude of concerts, theatre productions and comedy gigs, a world famous Bowls Club next to Victoria Park, and thriving Rugby and Netball clubs.
