Noel is an experienced and accomplished agent with an exceptional sales track record. He has spent many years working for both independent agents locally and corporate agents on the south coast and has had some of the best training in the industry. After a period of time spent working outside of the industry with DS Automobiles, Noel returned to the midlands and joined Purple Bricks where he has been responsible for large areas of Coventry and supporting the local agent in Leamington.

What was your first job in the property industry?
My first role within the industry was at a Warwickshire independent agency, with five local branches. I was based at their Nuneaton branch and basically started as an accompanied viewer and general dogs body, at the tender age of 19. It was a wonderful experience, I fell in love with the job and was there for about 15 years and finished there as an associate director, good times!

What attracted you to joining the SBK team?
I was attracted to SBK because like my first role in estate agency, it is a long standing brand, a true independent with independent core values! I was also excited to take on the challenge of enhancing the residential sales department as branch manager in Stratford. I was also somewhat pleasantly surprised how SBK have incorporated new technology as part of their sales department, making it a hybrid agency utilising the best of traditional high street agency combined with elements from the online industry, along with the land, commercial, lettings and other strings to the business’s bow, this made SBK very appealing.

What’s the best piece of advice you have ever been given about estate agency?
The best advice I was ever given was “Never answer a question if you are not sure of the answer, it’s always better to say, I am not sure, but will find out and get back to you” than make something up and be left with egg on your face! Also “always treat people with the respect they deserve and in a way that you would wish to be treated yourself”. Always remember estate agency is all about helping people move home, which is one of the biggest life transactions, with honesty, integrity, compassion, empathy and understanding! And also remember moving house should be a pleasurable exciting experience, not a chore!
