Meet the Team: Dan, Director and Co-owner

What was your first job in the property industry?

I was a developer at Greywell Property in Stoneleigh. After that I joined Sheldon Bosley as a town planner, before working my way up the company ladder.

What attracted you to working in planning?

I always wanted to an architect growing up, then I happened to walk into the wrong lecture theatre at a uni open day, I was sold on Planning and Development from then onwards and studied Town and Country Planning at the University of Newcastle.

What have you enjoyed most about your time at Sheldon Bosley Knight?

Watching this well respected, historic company grow and develop into an industry leading, multi-disciplined, land and property practice.

Always be closing.

What is the most exciting thing about your job?  

There’s no feeling quite like winning a contentious planning appeal or completing a big land sale!

Proactive, productive and people-orientated.

What’s the best piece of advice you have ever been given about the industry and who was it from?

Never turn down the offer of a cup of tea!
