Our staff are the most important element of our business – without them we wouldn’t be here and so we are always delighted to be able to share their successes and achievements.
We are therefore very proud of our associate director Tasha Blackmore da Silva who made it to the final of a prestigious planning award.
Tasha, who heads up SBK’s planning and architecture department, was nominated in the Royal Town Planning Institute’s (RTPI) category for West Midlands Young Planner of the Year.
The ceremony, on Friday, June 30, was a glittering occasion and although Tasha didn’t win, we are incredibly proud she made it through to the final in what was a very tough field.
Tasha said: “To be nominated for an award of this kind is an honour – especially alongside some very talented people. Although I didn’t win, it was a great night and I was very proud to have got that far.”
SBK director and co-owner Dan Jackson said: “Tasha has worked so hard in the seven years she has been with SBK and very much deserves this recognition.
“Not only has she achieved remarkable success in the day job by securing many approvals for our clients, but also in terms of achieving certain milestones in her professional career.
“She is a credit to the business and to herself and she has an amazing future.”
