Our staff are the most important element of our business – without them we wouldn’t be here and so we are always delighted to be able to share their successes and achievements.
We are therefore very proud our marketing manager Felicity Newsome who made it to the final of a prestigious regional business competition.
The Ladies First Business and Inspirational Women competition saw 180 finalists from across the Midlands up for awards in 25 categories including Achieves for the Community; Advocate for Women; Woman of Achievement; Business Entrepreneur; Businesswoman of The Year; and Marketing.
The ceremony, on Thursday, March 24, was a glittering occasion and although Felicity didn’t win we are incredibly proud she was a finalist in what was a very tough field.
Felicity joined the Sheldon Bosley Knight family on secondment in January 2020 and quickly became an indispensable part of the business with her forward-thinking, solution-focused mindset.
In October 2020 she took up a full-time role in the company and since then has overhauled the marketing element within the business, expanded the team, and last year passed with Distinction her Level 4 CIM qualifications.
Felicity said: “To be nominated for an award of this kind was an absolute honour and though I didn’t win, I am incredibly proud to have got this far and look forward to pushing myself in the future.”
Sheldon Bosley Knight’s head of residential sales and marketing James Morton said: “I am incredibly proud of Felicity and all she has accomplished in the short space of time she’s been here.
“Even just to be nominated for this award and alongside such hugely successful women is to be celebrated. To be a finalist is an incredible achievement.”
