SBK bags fresh talent for its ever growing business

Sheldon Bosley Knight (SBK) has further strengthened its team with the appointment of Matt Burrows as head of auctions, Lara Hawkins as business development manager and Simon Gallacher as property manager.
Matt, who was most recently with Northwood UK, will head up and develop the auction side of the SBK business. A former army officer, Matt also has many years’ experience within the property industry, having worked for both corporates and franchises as well as setting up his own business consultancy. Brought in to head up SBK’s re-launched auction department, Matt’s first sale will take place on November 28 at Chipping Norton Town Hall.
Lara Hawkins has been brought in as business development manager to look at ways in which SBK can innovate, strengthen and develop its conveyancing and financial services. As well as advising clients, her role will be to support the in-house conveyancing teams. She brings with her many years’ experience within the property and financial services industries.
Simon Gallacher has joined SBK to head up the company’s launch into Coventry. He will set up and run the branch and oversee all the residential sales and lettings business in the city which further solidifies SBK’s offering in the West Midlands.
Simon has worked as an estate agent in Coventry for more than 10 years and said he’s delighted to be joining SBK at a time of growth for the business.
SBK’s co-owner and director, Mike Cleary, said: “I am delighted to welcome Matt, Lara and Simon to the SBK family.
“They bring with them a wealth of talent and expertise which will ensure SBK continues to go from strength to strength.
“They have already hit the ground running and have ambitious plans for the short, medium and long term and I am confident they will be an enormous asset to the business.”
These latest additions to the company follow the acquisition of Wigwam Estate and Lettings Agents in Leamington and Banbury and Kavanagh Commercial based in Melksham, Wiltshire, earlier this year and brings the total number of additions to the SBK business this year to six.
