Sheldon Bosley Knight (SBK) is always proud to support community sports teams in and around the areas in which it has offices.

None more so than Keresley RFC’s Colts team whose new playing kit SBK is sponsoring.

The Colts have 22 players aged between 16 and 17 and it is the first team the club has had in 20 years so it’s a very exciting time for the young men involved.

This season they have played three games so far, winning one and are excited for the rest of the year.

There are also a great many children coming through the ranks who will help create a great future for the club.

Colts coach and club manager, Dan Shaw, said: “SBK has helped this team get a brand new home and away kit from our kit supplier Akuma.

“Without the sponsorship from SBK and other companies the lads would not have had a playing kit for this season due to our club not having had a Colts side for 18 plus years and not having a kit to be passed down.

“It is sponsorship from people and companies like SBK that help clubs move forward and help us gain players, coaches, and general volunteers with the advertising they bring.

SBK custodian, Mike Cleary said: “We are always keen to support the local community wherever and whenever we can.

“Rugby is close to my heart, having played competitively in my younger days, so I am delighted SBK is able to support the Keresley Colts by sponsoring the kit.
